Oh, I really like this one. The color scheme is very calming and I definitely like how the header/background tapers off. Looks good, and excited to see the rest of them for the next 31+ days!

Hey! Gotta love this theme! I have managed to translate everything to Swedish but this one thing, the “next/previous page” links. I tryed to edit the script in the “browse.php” file without any succes. Does anyone have an idea on how to change the apearence of these links?

Tried to post in the support forum but didn´t work? So here goes
Since my webpage is growing I would like to add a sidebar to the left. I am not that good with PHP but i can handle a fue things. How much work is needed and is it hard to do this? Can anyone assist me to make this happend?!

Include the sidebar in the header instead of the footer. Open the style.css file and change the sidebar margin from:
margin: 10px 0 0 10px;
to
margin: 10px 10px 0 0;
If that doesn’t work, I’ll look into it more.
Thanx for helpin out! Your suggestion simply moves the siderbar to the left. I´m looking to add an additional sidebar/column, handable with sidebar widgets. Maybe this meens to much work…?
This theme is fixed width and it depends on a lot of graphics. It’ll take a lot of work to put in another sidebar.

This is slightly broken in mozilla/firefox.
I fixed firefox by adding 1 line:

clear: both;
height: 55px; /* I added this line */
}
I have used the HTML and pasted in blogger’s pseudo-elements and am considering using this for my blogger template. Thx for a good looking layout!
Would anyone possibly be able to help me have this great theme working with default type URL addresses? It seems to break whenever I use an address like http://www.definingcanada.ca/?p=9

Love this theme, and after months of searching for a theme I like, I have chosen yours! One thing, the footer, why doesn’t it have a link to WP.
I know I could create a new footer, but wondered if there was a reason why you hadn’t done one.

I use “experiment” loosely. I mean the 30 themes in 30 days “experiment”, which turned into the 32 day (maybe goal is a better word).
But never mind, I just saw “32 WordPress Themes in 32 Days Recap”. I’m new here and that one got past me amid all the theme posts.

For any of you who don’t know how to fix this.
In Safari/Firefox the header img is a few pixels wrong.
This is what i did:
Open up wp-content/themes/peaceful-rush/style.css
Change
#header h1{
padding: 26px 30px 0 72px;
to
padding: 28px 30px 0 72px;
Then to fix back in IE add this after #header { }:
* html #header h1 {
padding: 26px 30px 0 72px;
}

Instead of “fixing” the CSS and then re-breaking it for I.E.; the problem is from an empty div (empty b/c there is nothing but floats and no un-positioned “content”). It is the header that is collapsing. So to fix for FF, opera, etc… just force the header height.

I can’t seem to make the banner appear in my blog with the Peace Rush template. Am I doing something wrong. The rest of the theme works fine.

How can I change the theme to occupy the entire screen? Right now, there is some margin on left and right hand side and I would like to reduce it to gain more real estate for my blog spot. Is there way to stretch the first column so it occupies most of the screen width?
It’s a fixed width theme. Expanding it is not a simple job.

I love this theme, but I would like to add an addtional column next to the right hand column so I can add a skyscraper banner. I don’t want the banner to be ‘part’ of the content but look like it’s ‘hanging’ next to site in the brown area. Is this hard to do?

I did translate your theme to arabic (it was easy) but I faced 2 issues and I wounder if you can help me on it.
1. I can’t change the Listing on the header to be from right to left (Logo, About.. etc) the bullet image & the logo shown in the left of the word and it should be on the right, I really don’t know how to do it since I tried everything in the ccs file.
2. The buttom side in the home page the “Next Page” link, from where I can translate it? I would like to know which file exactly or should I look inside all the theme files?

hmm…. I thought I sent you an email about this or have answered you on the forums before.
For the logo, rearrange it to come after the menu. For the menu, change it to float right in the css file.
For the next page text, look up how to customize it because you can’t translate it by default.

This is a very nice theme and I want to use it, but all the text and the tile in the text boxes are in all caps???? Help – I don’t want it all caps.
Dave – search for “uppercase” in the style.css file and change it to “none”.

I’ve added the Peaceful Rush theme to my WP 2.1 blog but it appears as though it is a bit out of wack in firefox. I have tried to make some of the changes as suggested above but they have not made a difference. In fact I think it looks a little bit worse. Can you tell me what I should do to fix the theme’s appearance in Firefox?

I am new to blogging and would really like to use your theme peaceful rush. It appears as though I have to ask word press to consider adding it to their list and have no guarantee that they will. Is that correct? It seems like a lot of other people are using it…What am I missing?!?!?

I just started blogging and found your template to use for my site. I absolutely loved the calm I felt when I saw the photo in the design. Professionally, I am graphic designer, however, I am not that familiar with wordpress (I’m leanring tho) so I went with a template.
One comment — your body.gif image is 2 pixels taller than it needs to be. If you go into photoshop and change the canvas size to 2474 pixels high instead of 2476, chopping off the top brown part. I edited it myself and replaced the image and it’s perfect now!
Just thought I’d share small feedback — otherwise, great design and I love the styles you used. By the way, I love your idea for the new one you’re working on.

I need to have a really long blog title (see url) and this causes the navigation links to end up on their own row.

Love this them and just started using it for my blog.
There’s one link that doesn’t seem to work, and it’s the About link in the header. Has anyone else had a problem with this? The About link in the sidebar does work, but not the one at the top.

Small Potato, LOVE THIS THEME. I’m using to for a little community website that I started, and the entire makeup of the theme feels like HOME. ( : Now my question: Is there ANY POSSIBLE WAY to show my entire posts other than just the one on the front page? Past posts show only an abbreviated version of my post, and one must click on the title of the post to read the whole story. I LOVE this theme, but for some reason, in the header I cant get all the pages to appear and the links don’t work either. I have added the page widget to the sidebar and it works from there. I see someone has asked about a similar error. Any advice on how to resolve it? I’d really appreciate it.

I must thank you for this exceptional theme. I modified the header and color scheme but absolutely love your simple and clean design.
Couple of questions—for some reason (although I have full posts selected in the admin wordpress panel) it is cutting off my posts to be excerpts. I don’t want this…how do I change it?
The other question is with my sidebar. I know I can edit through sidebar.php but how exactly do I get the meta options and blogroll links to actually show up? The search function and other pages are just fine.

I’ve been using this theme for a few months now and I love it, but for the past few days the background image is missing. I’ve noticed that it’s not just my blog, but everywhere that there is even a “demo” of Peaceful Rush.
What’s going on? I really don’t want to change themes.
