If you’re new to this blog, this is the third theme release for my self challenge of publishing one theme per day for more than 31 consecutive days.
To the regular readers, if you’re timing me, I actually made it! Hahaha. Too bad for you! Maybe next time huh?
I’m not proud of beating the deadline by one minute, but it’s funny how I always finish at near the end.

I made it! 3 minutes until my deadline to publish a Wordpress theme for today. The red, black, and white color scheme first got me on the WordPress theme designers map with Neo-Sapien. Now, I’m coming back with the same color scheme for Vengeance.
I wanted to do more with this theme, like title listings in the red header and fluid width. However, I got frustrated and sleepy.

Peaceful Rush marks the beginning of my self challenge to publish one free Wordpress theme per day for more than 31 consecutive days.
Back story: Today, I was searching for WordPress theme competitions and challenges to participate in, but no luck. It seems like the WordPress community is tired of it and not a lot of designers do participate when there is a challenge or competition. So, I decided to run one for myself.
The challenge is to create and publish one free WordPress theme each day for thirty 32 consecutive days. I got this idea from Phu Ly (a developer living in London). He did it for six straight days. Freaking amazing, I know! So what makes me think that I can match that and then survive for another 24 26 days? I HAVE NO IDEA! Some people are impulse shoppers. I’m an impulse goal setter. Let’s move on to…
The rules: (If you spot any room for errors or areas that I could possibly exploit to get lazy on the quality of my themes, better correct me now before I dig myself a hole.)

This is a little two-column, widget-ready, Digg-like WordPress theme that I’ve been working on. I took an extra day to re-test, re-validate, and to help you use this theme (as far as possible) without having to tweak it for your own blog, which contradicts my other goal, to allow you to customize it as far as you like. For example, you can change the header background image to show a screenshot capture of Digg Swarm. Open the style.css file, look for #header, and change bg_header.gif to bg_header_alt.gif. Check the readme.txt file for more customization tips.

Although not all of the following HTML tags were included in style.css, you should have no problem with:
