Preview: Greed WordPress Theme

Since the sketch or wireframe, I added a banner and moved some things around. Usually, a Wpdesigner theme has a lot of rounded corners. This theme has no rounded corners because I’m aiming for fixed-fluid width, without bloated DIV wrappers. So far so good, but I don’t like the color scheme. Do you have a better color scheme for this theme?
Coding starts tomorrow.
Do you have a demo site?
The screenshot seems too small.
It look nice, but in my opinion I should have used only green/yellow colours in harmony ( based on those in the sidebar)

I Think that this theme can be some “color” variations.

This theme is looking great! I appreciate getting to see your design process from sketch to mockup to shiny, new theme.
I like the bright green of your top nav bar (Home, About, Comments, etc) - maybe you should focus on that and use other bright colors?
@Richie - It’s not coded yet. I can’t show you a demo.
@Dean - I didn’t want to use bright colors for the sidebars because they’d be too distracting. I’ll go with this color scheme until I come up with another one or a variation.
I think the links in the upper half should be better this way:
blue or navy on white and black on light green.
Warm colors go well with green. Browns, bronzes, and golds for instance.
I prefer both central sidebars to the right, but that’s me.
Alan, you’ll be able to easily switch to double right sidebars.
I can’t wait until this is out - looks great!!
wow, im impressed… im going to postpone setting-up my own wordpress and i’ll wait for this to come out. I will sure use this theme.

A configurable theme eh? Cool.
What about color options? Background and font? Pictures?
No, just easily customizable through the style.css file. I wouldn’t know how to do that through theme options.
As for background, font, and stuff like switchable banner, I’d have to see, can’t guarantee anything right now.

as far as colour scheme, what about tans or black and reds or a beachy kinda theme? (that sounds girly huh?)

With the categories sections at the bottom, how hard would it be to have those set as “Latest News” from other blogs (so grabbing post titles from RSS feeds?

For me, the colors of the theme are ok, perhaps you add yellow and orange.
