Known Issues
- Comments doesn’t display correctly. (Fixed) Re-download the theme for the fix. To fix it manually, open comments.php and remove the author_highlight function.
Author Comments
I released Wpdesigner5 under Creative Commons (CC) because it uses quite a few icons from the FamFamFam Silk Icons set, which was released under (CC). And unlike the two previous themes, this one doesn’t support the old WordPress 2.0.x series.
Along with the theme, there’s a psd file up for download to customize the About box in the main column, just in case you want to replace my orange eatin’ monkey face.
This is a pretty nifty theme. I likey.

why can’t I use the calendar?
when I add the code:
to the sidebar.php,the site shows nothing
You don’t need to add any code. Use the calendar widget available on the Widgets page.

Wpdesigner5 is a great theme however, I have problem with displaying “COmment”. It just said:
One Response to “Step by step, researcher looks for sexuality cluesâ€
But no cooment is displayed.

It’s no problem if I use any other themes.
and the calendar,still have problem.when I enable the calendar in the widgets,then the website can not be disappeared.
I found the problem. Remove the author_highlight function from the comments.php file.

Just something else I would like to add. I was looking for a design where I could have a large post area, and an additional area to place adverts, important links etc and more. Not only do I get a great tab like menu at the top which I have like 8 links on, I also have 2 sidebars to work with, which are both very dynamic, and I have added site stats, DNScoop information, links, news, and even a music player icon as a small tutorial about the site. This template is perfect, and I thank you for that.
Im going to work on the links at the bottom in the footer and make it link directly to this page, so they can download this template, because it deserves the fame. Best one on this site in my opinion.

I’m using this theme and like it very much. But I found the right column has problem in IE. If I use table in main content, the right column will go to the bottom.

I just installed Wordpress 2.2.2 and it looks like it killed the widget capability on Wpdesigner5. Any ideas? I don’t even get an option for Widgets under ‘Presentation’.
Disregard. I didn’t disable my plugins before doing the upgrade.
Once I did that, copied the upgrade up to the server and ran it, it all worked out. Thanks.
i am testing your template, but the text seem to overflow and the three column layout is shown one below the other
what should i do so that the text it wrapped wellwithin the second column?

The right side-bar of the Wpdesigner5, however, seems to have issues in Microsoft’s troublesome Internet Explorer. Perhaps the answer lies somewhere on your site, already. If so, my apologies….
