Interviewed by MyBlogIt.net

David of My Blog It recently started a WordPress designer interview series and he asked me to answer some questions for that series. The article is now up on his blog. Read it to find out what food you should use to bribe me for a favor. Head over to MyBlogIt.net to read the interview.

Liked the interview!

Small Potato: I love fried chicken, fried shrimp, and fried fish. And… people call me Small Potato or just SP.

Perhaps we should call you Fried Potato ;-)

Fried food tends to be delicious that’s all :).

Very interesting interview, SP.

Could you tell us a bit more about your working environment. Specifically, how your multiple WordPress installations work?

Thanks.

I’m running Xampp (Apache, PHP, and MySQL on Windows XP). After installing Xampp, I install WordPress, a separate database for each WordPress install.

First one - version 2.1: I’m mainly working with 2.1 at this point, but I’ll start working with 2.2 by default very soon.

Second one - version 2.0: After completing a theme, I make a copy of it for this install and test the theme’s backward compatibility.

Third - I test it for version 2.2.

Fourth (optional) - This one is also 2.1, but with several selected plugins installed. Some themes come with plugin integrations. I use this optional 2.1 install to test the plugin integrations.

All together, I have four running WordPress installs.

Congrats, Very interesting interview :)

i have to say congratz on the interview too, maybe i’ll get interviewed some day, not for wp themes but for running in the football field naked ;)

I got interviewed, too, what a coincedence ;)
