Like always, details are not there yet. If you haven’t noticed, this design is based on Sandbox’s structure. Initially, I’ll release it as its own theme because I have another use for it. Then, I’ll try to release it as a Sanbox skin, no guarantee.

Wrath is a three-column, sharp, minimalistic, but bold theme. 980 pixels wide, it has a lot of breathing room. I’d love to use it for Wpdesigner, but I’ve given Wpdesigner too many facelifts already in 2007. With that said, I’ll envy any blog that gets to use this theme.

This theme looks really nice!

Never knew about this site, found it through Arpits! Bookmarked/Subscribed.

How close is it to being finished?

Cool, can’t wait for the full release of this!

@Dave - I’m releasing it today!

Wow, Small Potato, I love it! A clear 980px wide theme with 2 sidebars are exactly what I am looking for in a theme right now. Is it possible to change the sidebars’ positions, so it would look like sidebar1 - content - sidebar 2? Then it’d be a perfect fit for one of my blogs.

Can’t wait to see the live demo. :)

SP - seriously, I don’t dig this theme… It’s just too plain… Maybe it offers a blogger a lot of space to customize it, but it’s all very traditional and unspectacular…

Not saying that’s a bad thing (in fact, a lot of your success has been built on designing clean and stylish themes like this), but saying that you’d want to use this theme on WPDesigner makes no sense, since your current design is much more distinguishable… So if you really meant that, I don’t agree… If it’s subliminal marketing of the quality of Wrath, then you’re achieving that… :)

Haha. It isn’t subliminal marketing. I want to switch to something simple, but I’m stuck with Wpdesigner’s current design for now. I feel the header is very heavy and there isn’t a lot of room for ads. That’s a problem because updating this site is becoming a full time job.

(I meant not a lot of room for ads outside of the content area.)

If I were to switch to this Wrath theme, I would change the red banner area into two theme thumbnails and a login form.

Nate:

VERY nice SP. I will have to find some use for it when you release it.

I definitely have to keep an eye on your work!

Looks awesome, probably my favorite in the series so far. I don’t want to use a theme I haven’t made one my blog, but I have a project I have to do that a pallet swap of this would be perfect for!

Tyler:

Crap, if I didn’t get my wordpress site screwed up so much that I can’t even use it anymore I would be waiting for this to be released then downloading it to my site. It would have gone good!

Tyler:

Also, have you ever thought about making theme’s for blogger/blogspot? I know that you are a WPdesigner, but I just wanted to ask.

[…] I just noticed that Small Potato has a spanking new theme based on Sandbox called Warth, one of the best Sandbox designs I have come across (yet!). Note: Please use this information only […]

i like the neatness of this theme . i will going to use it as my base theme in my other domain :)

I like it looks really clean. Man I’ve barely started coding my theme for the y sandbox competition. by the way you could try submitting it for the competition ;)

Nevermind about my comment on the release date. I didn’t have time to continue working on it because I went out with my family for shopping and dinner.

@Tyler - I don’t want to divide my attention. Since I don’t use blogger, it would be difficult for me to give blogspot support for my themes.

@Arpit - Can I get a sneak peak at your theme?
I’m not going to submit Wrath to the competition :).

Your releasing it? Where is it??? This theme is uber fantastic!

I think Wrath is better than those “6 over the top designs”.
Red has given a beautiful contrast on an otherwise clean and simple page.

hey SP sorry didnt see your reply. I haven’t been going online much this week :). Can you send me mail with your email ID I want you to give a sneak peak of my theme for your suggestions and opinion.

Email sent :)
