I’m starting to like Sandbox. Hopefully, I will get to do a more detailed design with many page-to-page variations to display the full potential of Sandbox.
For Wrath, I ran out of ideas for details because it felt right to stop. Without the rounded corners and mini icons, I know it doesn’t feel like a design by yours truly. But, I felt that those characteristics and adding more to it would have cluttered it.
Wrath is simple, sharp, and I painted it bright red, unlike the soft, rounded corners, and dark red of Lust.
This theme marks the fourth release of the Seven Deadly Sins theme series. Check out the previous releases: Lust, Pride, and Greed.

looks good any idea how to create a date stamp button like “JAN 09″ using sandbox ?
Since you’re in that design competition and can’t touch the source codes, there’s no way.
Congrats on your latest Wordpress theme SP! Looks awesome.
Thanks Nate
Thanks SP I figured that out today. I was working on the Photoshop mockup till now. I have started with the CSS coding only today.
Thanks for sharing the theme with us, it’s a simple useful and clean
keep well
its looking nice, but after scrolling down a bit it seems pretty empty.
I think that’s because it’s only a demo. An established blog would have more content to cover all the empty space.
Nice design. Easy to read and great grid layout.
Looks good. I’ve never been all that fond of when footers are separated from the site column, but it’s already growing on me and it is easy to fix. Other than that, I love it. This looks to be a great theme for a base for someone who wanted to make their site use a theme but turn it into something personal but is still a finished piece.
By the way, you might want to fix the link to Pride in your post, currently it’s going to the screenshot rather than the download page.
Thanks Kenneth. I fixed it. Btw, what’s going on with your blog? You haven’t updated it since July 1st. Don’t be lazy hehe.
[…] Recently, I used Sandbox to build the Wrath theme. […]
@ Arpit
Wouldn’t it be possible if:
1. You text-wrap div class=”entry-date”
2. Constrain the width such that month+date is on the first line, year in the second and time in the third, this can be achieved since the format is comma separated using unicode line break or simply (my preferred way), setting a width that will normally break the line based on boundary conditions)
3. Change the font color to be the same as the background color (will create a warning when validating, but nonetheless validate)
Increase the leading to have only the month+date and year are over your background button image but the time will be below the background image therefore nor visible since it’s color is the same as the background.
I know it’s a round about way and I have never tired it with Sandbox, but if your design needs it and you are in the competition, this should get you there.
@ SP
Nice theme, forwarding link to wpSnap.com
@ SP
I used an ordered list in my earlier comments that did not degrade! Could you fix that for me please
@hso thanks
I tired it. Its not that easy. Ex: the length for September, july is different
so I can’t make it generic
Nice theme, I love the clean simple look to it.

Each post has a class for the day month year so you can do it using background images.
re: the red about that required hacking the source code. You could have done the about as an image and then used CSS to embed it.
When I have to do stuff like that on WordPress.com I stick it in a text widget inside of some span classes and then reposition it to where I want.
This is great! I think to change my blog to this design soon.

I really like this theme.
I miss the ones with graphical style, though.
It’s funny, the higher the speed of the internet, the less graphics we use.
