Poll: Gluttony Color Schemes

Of the Seven Deadly Sins theme series, Gluttony is the second last to be released. The last one is Sloth.
This poll is either promoting user participation or simply laziness from Small Potato. In any case, you get to vote for your favorite out of the available color schemes for Gluttony. The most popular scheme will be the default style for Gluttony’s upcoming theme release. The rest of the schemes will be worked on and released at a later date. The poll will be open until Monday afternoon.

there are plenty of blue and gray themes out there. firnze isn’t terribly convincing, but i really like the orange and olive.
I don’t like Firenze and Neutral Blue doesn’t stick out enough for me. Grey is always a good choice but I also really like Orange On Olive. The header makes it too strong, but seeing as the user would replace it with, say, a photo that had a light overlay of the same orange, I actually think that would look the best.
I am not a big fan of Firenze or Neutral Blue. Gray is more my style. However, I voted for and would continue with Orange On Olive. I believe it will stand out as a unique theme with those colors.
I want all, specially orange and blue… its very nice!
My favorite is Neutral Blue, and I voted for it. But, I think the Orange on Olive might be the best bet for uniqueness. The Gray also looks great. I’m not a big fan of Firenze. They all look great though.
Like my previous choice, gray is my favorite. But i love Neutral Blue too
I’m a sucker for blue, but considering the name gray fit’s the best.
In the end, I voted for blue.
But I think the best would be to allow the users to choose their own color scheme. Make a ‘Customize Gluttony’ page in the theme that lets the user choose from these four schemes, or even put in their own colors.
Sure someone could just go and edit the CSS file themselves, but if you can built an interface into the theme, that’d be cool too.
I liked the blue and the orang/olive, but since you get only one vote I went for the orange/olive. The gray is just really… gray! Oh Boy! Drabby, dull, gray!
I like the Neutral Blue one the most.
But the Grayscale comes in close second.
I don’t like Firenze at all…
orange/olive is the best hands down. colors blend good, look professional and pleasing to the eyes
Thanks for the options SP, I gree with the majority on this one,the greay holds together the best, the other colours schemes just lack a bit of consistency. The colours need to work together better and do more to highlight certain areas while still fitting in with the rest of the sites colours. May I ask what software you use to do these layouts?

I find it so depressing that Orange and Olive is in third place at the moment. When are people going to get over this obsession with grey and blue? There are other colours in the world, not that you’d know it looking at the majority of wordpress themes.
Gluttony denotes an excess of pleasure, to go grey might be ironic but how boring.
firenze or the orange and olive at least give the sense of a nod toward the theme name.
And are wonderful besides!

Its a shame that grey came out on top, although i liked it, i preferred the definition around the menu items list on the blue version, i thought the grey one didnt provide enough separation.

I think you should use all four skins, so the end user can pick which one they like better, like you did with your Showcase theme.
But if I had to choose one… I’d go with Blue!
I like the one on the bottom right.
I really like the grey one. Neutral themes make the content stand out, and also make it easier visualise any customisations you want to make. For the record, I think I’d have a go at making a hot pink version. Not coz I’m a girl, and I don’t actually like pink, but after Pink For October, I’m keen to have a go at playing with the colour from a design point of view.

Judging my all the links Mike is sending to his ‘friend’s’ site, I’m guessing that he doesn’t actually believe your design to be a rip-off of his ‘friends’ design, but that he just knows that will send a bunch of traffic his way, er, I mean his ‘friend’s’ way.
