Personal Theme Design Preview

The preview above is the not-yet-finalized version of the latest design that I’m working on. At this moment, the Personal theme looks ironically not-so-personal. Generic is more fitting. That’s because I pulled this design together through CSS design galleries. After finalizing it, I’ll show you all of my sources and show you how easy it is to simply mash up good lookin’ designs, then end up with a horrible lookin’ one.
By the way, just to clarify it for you, the name of this theme is Personal. It doesn’t mean I’ll use it for my personal blog.

Maybe you should put some personal pictures somewhere to make it more personal
It looks really good… if you could replace that color.. and put an image there.. in tune with the background.. it will look better ( for me )
You may have a point there… a lot of your recent designs have been mashed together a little… can’t say it’s bad, and i can’t say that it’s a good way to do things either…. Good luck

I like the outer part of the theme, if maybe did something a little different with the “Kubrick” part it would like pretty clean.

I like this theme, but maybe a blue or gray sidebar could be better.
It looks great, but as you said, not very personal. But it is still great!
I’m not too sure on this one, I’m usually a huge fan of your work, but I just don’t like those colours, nothing wrong with the layout, I like it a lot, but those colours make me feel a bit queasy!
gah those colours! That base dark green has got to go - that or change the rest of the template to fit. It also looks very uniform, and as other people have said not very personal… personal ones should have alternating graphic, a wide range of colour - or at least thats what I think to really ‘personalize’ it.

Just kidding. It looks nice and clean. Not to keen on the colors tho. But I’m sure you will be mixing it up a little and posting it.

It’s your style - very similar to this one in many ways.
I don’t think it’s that bad actually.
It has many unique elements.
Adjusting the color scheme may rescue it.
And the header isn’t quite working for me…
Align the search to the right.
And possibly change that blue-gradient area… It reminds me too much of the default Wordpress template.
I look forward to it’s final outcome!
Looks very nice, but I wouldn’t pay for it.
The green and blue combinations are totally isolated from each other which gives a feeling as if two layers are present one beneath the other.
Try to mix the colors, but those two colors in my opinion don’t seem to gel with each other. But I do like the outer green layout. If you could make the inner “layer” in shades of green or a matching color it would look awesome.

Im missing the Home Tab in the personal theme. How can i add it?

I like this theme, has it finished yet?
