Finalized Music Theme Design

I’ve tried to add more graphics and music images to the available space in the top right corner, but the graphics looked like clutter so the version above will be the final version. It’s just a little different from the preview.
This theme does not come with the photos featured in one of the screenshots. They’re placeholders.
Nice design however the color is too dark.

This theme looks great and is ideal for band/musician use! Will it be available as part of the themes club and if so, when will this launch? I’d like to get my hands on this!
I’m not a huge fan of this one SP and it’s not a problem with dark designs per se, but I just find the transition from red to black (read light to dark) in this one is so intense that after scanning the page, the main content is not inviting to read.
I’m not a fan of the new search box and nav bar backgrounds either. You seem to have applied a ‘grunge’ effect that bears no relationship to the rest of the design.
My final thought is what about approaching a music theme without adhering to the usual cliches i.e. heavily graphic, dark, and grunge like? Or what about a dual style sheet and a style switcher between light and dark? Just trying to think of ways to make your theme more unique.

AndrewE- I’ve never done a grunge design before and am not too familiar with dark designs as you can see. However, I don’t think the transition is that extreme. You can add photos to your content to keep the eyes moving downward.
Andrea - I haven’t. Would it be difficult to utilize that for this theme?
I’ve added it to a few themes. Most of the time, it’s not tricky at all. I’d even be willing to do it.
then you’d be able to have a look, see how it’s done and maybe eventually utilize it in other themes.
Even regular WP users don’t like to muck around in theme files sometimes.
